Yes! I don’t mind it in fic because I can just click away and it’s also … written. But so many new tv series are just misery upon misery and no silver lining in sight! Everyone is dying or living in super dire circumstances, the world is going to shit, and we also have no budget for proper lighting anymore, as a treat. Ugh.

There’s so much dark and awful stuff in RL, I want some escapism in my media! I guess that’s why I’m so super hyped for the Barbie movie because it looks like silly meta fun with bright colours! Give me that!
