Well, this is getting real now! The boat of Small Mysteries has both a cover and a blurb:

It's just going through a final editing pass and then it will be ready to be released. Possibly even as soon as next week.

I genuinely can't remember how I used to do this. But I am very excited and a little nervous at the same time.

That cover is great! I'm looking forward to when it's out. Cozy mysteries usually aren't my cup of tea, I'm more a nordic noir type, but if boats and water are involved, sign me up! XD

Thank you so much :) I have to say that I like it too. I know what you mean about boats, though. I think there's enough actual boating in this to satisfy someone who is in it for the boats. The mysteries are really only small and fleeting in the larger stream of getting up the River Nene on a narrowboat, which I find is much scarier than it sounds :)

I was doing what I thought was the responsible thing and trying to keep my fannish person away from my professional person. But I can't do that any more, it's too complicated, and I'm out of the other side of trying to be some kind of big author. I'm a small author and that comes with some freedoms :)
