You're right! I've just been reading up on wildflower meadow maintenance and cursing myself. In my defense I instituted the 'feed the lawn' scheme as a way to convince my husband that I could improve the lawn and crowd out the dandelions without him going out with the weedkiller, and it definitely worked for that! Now that he's more used to the idea of plants that aren't grass in the lawn, even he's receptive to the idea of No Mow May :)
