Ooh, ooh! There are leaf buds beginning to uncurl on the medlar tree. I barely got my apricot tree replanted in time because there are buds there too. They're still tightly clenched but they're visible in a sort of lovely plum bronze colour.

Snowdrops and crocuses are carpeting the graveyard of the church in our village. We've nearly made it, folks. These last couple of weeks are the worst, but the end is in sight.

How lovely!! I saw a tiny bit of colour on a daffodil by the road and started jumping around in joy, haha.

I would have done too :) The daffodils are still just leaves here, but I'm looking forward to them even so.

I love snowdrops and crocuses - they are such a great herald of Spring!

I always associate spring with the colours white, purple and gold because of the crocuses and snowdrops :)

Where do you live?

In the South-East of the UK. February is our worst month, when we forget what sunshine looked like and everywhere is dark grey and raining all the time.

We haven't gotten much of a winter here, so I'm wondering if it's going to hit us with a vengeance in the last four-six weeks of the season. Sometimes March does a number on us.

But we did see snowdrops at the gardens yesterday! We have some trees starting to bud, and I hope they don't get smacked by a late snow. We'll see what happens!

Yes, I'm glad to say that we still can't tell exactly what the weather is going to do. How boring it would be if we could :)

that sounds lovely! we've still got snow on the way here, but i suppose soon enough i'll start seeing the daffodils come out.

Yes, daffodils are still mainly leaves here too, but the promise is there :)
